Mostly seafood here, very fresh and reasonably priced. One of the things we like most is their generous portions. For example, they offer two whole ginger and scallion lobsters for only $23.99. Their lobster lo-mein (whole lobster tail with sautéed noodles) is only $13.99 and easily serves two. The one time we tried it, we were not disappointed... delicious!
We love their Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps. At $8.50, it's a good appetizer (or even a side dish) for 2-4 people. You can't miss with their filleted rock cod and black bean sauce. If ordered as a lunch special (cod and greens over rice), it's $5.00.
On one occasion, we ordered the crispy seafood basket ($8.50). Absolutely delectable with a nice assortment of shrimp, scallops, cuttle fish, snow peas, and other veggies served in a basket "woven" out of very thin potato strips, molded into a bowl, and deep fried. However, the next time we ordered it, the bowl was an extra thick wonton wrap -- not nearly as tasty as the potato strips. Either they changed cooks or decided to go a cheaper route. Disappointing.
On our last visit, we were feeling adventurous and opted to try the "Pickle Green Queen Sauce E-Fu Noodles" for $5.00. Other than the pickled veggies (mustard greens), we didn't know what to expect. We were presented with a mountain of noodles, fried before being sautéed in a light gravy (giving the noodles a pleasant, toothsome texture) and generously topped with pieces of tender, tasty pork and pickled mustard greens. Yum!
Service can be a bit spotty. There's one regular waiter who tends to fly around the restaurant, really hustling. But one or two of his female co-workers seem to be less motivated. So on a service scale of 1-10, we give it a 5. The food scale rating is considerably higher, at 8.5.

What we would like to add, however, is the good deal on their lunch specials ($9.50-$7.50), available Monday through Friday, until 4 p.m. Although the various selections include beef short ribs, sirloin pork, and assorted seafood, our favorite is the marinated chicken breast.
To start, you get a generous assortment of ban chan (small, cold side dishes). They are all very fresh with delightfully clean flavors: marinated cucumbers; bean sprouts; burdock; potato strings; bean curd slices; kim-chee; and Chinese turnips. In addition to the cold dishes, there are two hot side dishes that make this particular Korean restaurant stand out -- scallion pancakes (hot and yummy) and delectable steamed eggs served piping hot in a small cast-iron pot. Actually, you have a choice of tofu soup (which is quite good) or the steamed eggs. Then comes the entree of delicious marinated chicken (we think it's thigh meat rather than breast because it's so tender and flavorful), served on a cast-iron/wood based platter and accompanied by a bowl of white rice. To top everything off, a cool, refreshing cup of sweet rice drink serves as dessert. Not bad at all for $7.50!
Service is quick and friendly. The only down side is finding parking and, at times, competing with bus loads of Korean tourists who come regularly. Guess that says something about the place.

Although there are six (count ‘ em - six) King of Thai Noodle Houses in San Francisco, we normally go to this one because of proximity.
When we’re craving yummy but not heavy, we go for two of their scrumptious non-meat dishes.
The first is Som Tum, a salad of shredded green papaya with tomatoes, green long beans, ground peanuts, dried shrimp, and sliced cabbage, in a spicy lime dressing. If you’#re a wuss about hot chiles (like this writer is), be sure to ask your wait person to leave them out. For one person, the portion is generous, and it can serve two as a side or starter. Not bad for $6.95.
The second mostly vegetarian dish we like is Guay Tiew Jae, a noodle soup with tofu, Chinese broccoli, Napa cabbage, mushrooms, bean sprouts and your choice of flat rice noodles, small rice noodles, vermicelli noodles or egg noodles. We usually have the egg noodles - yum! This is not a true vegetarian dish (particularly if you order egg noodles) because the rich broth is a little too tasty to be solely vegetable-based. However, as with the Som Tum, all the vegetables are very fresh with bright, clean flavors. A winner at $5.75.
So for good food that’#s simple, delicious, satisfying and not wallet-busting, check it out. The décor is rather ambiance-free, but the wait-staff are quick and courteous.
